Each color was pulled from a real-world object — not from the photograph. How we sample →
GBAY-00077 — that blue — was pulled from this silo. The corrugated steel holds the sky back without blending into it; the water keeps its own blue, separate. You don't usually see the two next to each other this cleanly. This photograph documents the surface we sampled. The color itself is archived.
